Former local health officials (LHOs) and leaders in local public health remain active in public health policy through NACCHO's alumni membership. Alumni members stay informed as well as share their knowledge, experience and perspective on local public health issues. Members participate on internal committees and represent NACCHO on various external task forces and boards. Members receive all NACCHO publications, and discounted member registration rates for NACCHO conferences.
NACCHO's affiliate membership provides opportunities for individuals, partner associations, local and federal government agencies, and nonprofit organizations interested in local governmental public health and the work of NACCHO.
