The Institute for Healthcare Improvement along with AHRQ and NORC developed a framework by which health information technology can improve in the quality of care in primary care settings in the US.
The intent of this project was to present what is currently known about using health IT for quality improvement in primary care settings, and to introduce concepts
that can be broadly disseminated in order to accelerate the adoption of health IT for improvement.
