Mass clinic (POD) planning template

This document describes the plans required to operate a mass clinic using supplies from the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) and the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). The distribution of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals is a core function of the plan. This plan describes the dispensing of pre-packaged medications or vaccine to a large number of people for treatment of both asymptomatic individuals and symptomatic persons. This was created to be used as a template for other local health departments. It is detailed and provides a step by step process to follow in order to create and execute the delivery of SNS supplies during an emergency. This model includes training suggestions and templates for forms and can be easily adapted for a variety of situations.
