Mass Triage Interactive Training – A Short Course is a CD train-the-trainer toolkit that provides refresher and just-in-time training in triage methods for public health and healthcare providers responding to mass casualty incidents (MCI) involving hazardous agents. It contains an objectives-based learning assessment that will provide guidance for educators and trainers in the delivery of effective MASS triage training. It is based on the National Disaster Life Support Foundation NDLS-Decon training, a two-day training course offered by the NDLSF National Training Center at UT Southwestern medical Center in Dallas, TX. The CD-ROM also provides some training overview for educators on two other triage methods, SACCO and START, as well as links for other training resources. NOTE: This CD-ROM is not intended as a substitute for hands-on training.
