Prerequisite: Orange County Health Department Strategic Plan (2006-2011)

Keywords / Description:

In 2006, the Orange County Health Department (OCHD) developed this 155-page strategic plan, a useful resource for those looking to develop a strategic plan in preparation for national accreditation. This detailed strategic plan is focused on strengthening collaboration between OCHD and the community, eliminating divisions within the OCHD, and providing agency direction in the following areas: mandated service improvements; community programming focus areas; and internal departmental focus areas.  This strategic plan also provides benchmarks for each priority area as a means to measure itself against best practices or state and national standards.
