SNS News Release Templates

The Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) news release templates were developed by state and local public health staff to use as a guide during an emergency. Templates are provided for the following situations: SNS push pack requested; dispensing sites to open, medication dispensing procedures, vaccination sites update, volunteers needed at dispensing sites. These messages can be used as a framework from which one can develop specific and accurate information relative to the current event. A message development worksheet is also available. These materials are included in the SNS section of Missouri's Emergency Response Public Information Toolkit for Local Public Health Agencies.
