This matrix and its associated user guide were developed by the Biological Emergency Planners Subcommittee under the Washington Council of Governments. Intended to be used by public health emergency preparedness planners working in a multi-jurisdictional area, the matrix helps public health agencies to identify, simplify, and compare the operational characteristics of dispensing sites.
This tool has strong potential for those areas tackling a regional approach to mass vaccination/dispensing activities. The ultimate goal of the matrix is to clarify and achieve consistency of protocols and procedures across jurisdictions. A blank version of the matrix is available to be adapted for other areas, as is a user guide for reference.
