This workforce development plan demonstrates how South Central Public Health District, ID, used their training needs assessment to develop a plan to address gaps in knowledge, improve work productivity and sustain levels of competence. Components include a concept of operations, staff roles and responsibilities, resource allocation, a training management system, a process for plan management and maintenance, and a training calendar.
This plan was used as evidence for Goal 2 of a Project Public Health Ready application and can be used as an example by other agencies.
