MappyHealth

Description:

MappyHealth is a Web-based application that allows health officials to use data they gain through the app to complement other health surveillance systems in identifying emerging health issues and as an early warning of possible public health emergencies. MappyHealth mines Twitter data looking for health term trends and tracks disease terms and associated qualifiers to present social trends. MappyHealth seeks to foster awareness of these spikes through various mapping and analytical views.
