For many local jurisdictions that are considering health in all policies, the focus is on chronic disease prevention through obesity reduction efforts.

However, when pursuing a health in all policies approach, there are number of environmental health risk factors that influence the health of a community. One area in particular that many people worry about is the environment and its impact on children.

The Children's Environmental Health Network provides a number of resources on policies such as chemical usage, housing, and school environments that can be useful for identifying additional stakeholders and for identifying other ways in which non-traditional sectors impact health.
