ATSDR Brownfields and Land-Reuse Site Tool

The ATSDR Brownfields and Land-Reuse Site Tool is a rapid site assessment and multiple chemical exposure dose calculating tool. Featured in the December issue of the Journal of Environmental Health, it allows users to assess sites by past or future use, institutional controls, sensitive populations, and suspected or confirmed contamination. The Site Tool helps users to:

•view inventory sites;

•store records for public inquiry of sites;

•assist in rapid response to inquiries;

•catalogue institutional controls, spills, contaminants, emergency response events, and health concerns; and
