Local Boards of Health and Environmental Health Policy: Food Safety

Description:

NALBOH created a factsheet on policies related to food safety that can be used by local boards of health to help them strengthen local food safety programs by recommending, implementing, and/or enforcing effective food safety regulations. This factsheet may be able to help local jurisdictions implement Health in All Policies by informing them of the policies and legal authority to insert health considerations into addressing environmental health concerns.
