ASTHO, NACCHO, and STIPDA will continue our series of topical injury prevention teleconference seminars on Wednesday, April 19, from 1:30-3:00 PM Eastern. This call will focus on how the built environment and community design impact injury prevention, healthy lifestyles, walkability, pedestrian safety, and much more. Speakers will discuss how community design and transportation systems influence people’s opportunities to walk and bike safely; collaborations between health, transportation, and other agencies; and the impact of planning and development on the public’s health and safety.
