	Capacity Building Workgroup Provides input on the strategic direction and capacity building needs of the MRC program. Core Competencies/Training Workgroup Provides input on the development and integration of core competencies and training plans. Deployment Workgroup Provides input on the issues and mechanisms to pre-identify, screen, train, organize and utilize MRC volunteers willing and authorized to deploy outside of their jurisdiction. Student Task /Youth Task Group Provides input on issues faced by MRC units that interact with students and schools/universities.

	Animal/Veterinary Issues Task Group Provides input on the animal/veterinary-related issues faced by MRC units. Mental Health Task Group Provides input on issues related to mental health, especially during times of emergency.
