Project Overview: The Bethlehem Health Bureau (BHB) is located in Bethlehem, PA, and serves a population of approximately 73,000. BHB identified data collection, processing, and maintenance as areas for improvement. The bureau developed and piloted a quality improvement process, and, based on recommendations, implemented a modified process for data collection, processing, and maintenance throughout the bureau. As a result, BHB now has a consistent, accurate process to collect data.
