2008 State Reports
|
Twenty state reports using 2008 National Profile of Local Health Departments data are now online and available for download. NACCHO offered all states that achieved a sufficient response rate the opportunity to collaborate on developing these reports. These reports, developed in partnership with SACCHOs and state health agencies, provide a state-to-national comparison of local health department (LHD) infrastructure and practice. State and local health department staff and others can now compare their state’s LHDs to the national picture regarding funding, workforce size, top services provided, and more all in a useful PowerPoint format. These reports are great tools for providing state or local presentations, supporting public health advocacy, and preparing policy statements. Your computer must have Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 or a newer version to view these presentations. For more information, contact the Profile team at ProfileTeam@naccho.org.
