The Model Practice Database The Model Practice Database, is an online, searchable collection of practices across public health areas. This database allows you to benefit from your colleagues' experiences, to learn what works, and to ensure that resources are used wisely on effective programs that have been implemented with good results. The database features practices in the following areas:
2007 Model Practice Award RecipientsTwenty-nine public health programs nationwide were recognized as model practice award recipients at a reception on July 12, 2007 during the 2007 NACCHO Annual Conference in Columbus, OH. Scott County Child Health Initiative
This program addresses the provision of services related to well-child screening and the low percentage of children ages birth–21 years who receive these services regularly as recommended.
