Network Profile of the Medical Reserve Corps

2022 Network Profile Cover Small

In 2023, NACCHO conducted its fifth comprehensive Medical Reserve Corps network survey. The Network Profile is a report that shares a snapshot of the MRC Network including the newest data on MRC unit demographics, funding, training, partnerships, response activities, and capabilities.

This edition of the Network Profile celebrates the network's 20th year of service, showing volunteers contributed over 1.1 million hours of service across the country in just one year—the equivalent of over 530 full-time employees.

This report provides a snapshot of the MRC network in 2022, including the newest data on unit demographics, funding, training, partnerships, response activities, and capabilities. These data were collected from a survey administered in February 2023. A total of 541 units responded to the survey for a response rate of 73%.
